Avalon Estate at a glance

Avalon Estate derives its name from the town Avalon in France. This upmarket estate, originally built on a prior chicken farm, is now one of the most popular estates in Durbanville, overlooking the Hottentots Holland Mountains. It is located between Okavango - and Amadeus Road, adjacent to Uitzicht, and close to shops and major access routes.

The estate was completed in 2017, and comprises 371 properties, with designs inspired by 17th Century Cape Vernacular dappled with South African heritage. The entire estate is based on safe family living, supplying 24-hour manned security, fingerprint access, CCTV camera surveillance, electric fence, as well as visitor scanning.

The design of the estate's green areas has been landscaped with vineyards, olive groves, orchards and multiple water points, all set with walking paths for enjoyment by all residents. The dam at the bottom of the estate can be used for picnics or just relaxing.

Avalon Estate boasts a lifestyle center comprising a full equipped gym, entertainment area with bar, lounge and private function space, as well as tennis - and squash courts and 2 swimming pools. There is also a skin care salon, as well as a children's crèche.
