Groenvlei is a relatively new suburb in Paarl and is surrounded by wine farms on the one side and the Paarl mountain on the other. It is situated next to Lemoenkloof area and is also sought-after for its proximity to Paarl Gimnasium and Noord-eind Primary school. Houses in this area range from modern designs to more conventional styles. You will find some 2 bedroom homes but most are 3 to 4 bedroom houses ranging from R 2 500 000 to R 4 500 000 in price. The special feature of this area is its parks and green belts where families come together after work and on weekends. Everything you need is within a kilometre or two's distance. The Northern Paarl Checkers and SuperSpar are always open after 5pm and the hospitals and specialist care centres are located close by. There are a couple of townhouse complexes to choose from as well and prices in these estates range from just below to over R 2 000 000 and are mostly tenanted by young professionals and smaller families.
